About:Chinese Embassy in New Zealand

Hello,
My partner is trying to obtain a police clearance certificate from China as he worked there for 7 years. He is unable to return to China to process this documentation as he has lived away from China for nearly 2 years. He does not have a foriegner's residence permit as his passport was stolen. Kindly inform me about the process we need to follow in order to obtain this police clearance certificate. Is it possible to process this police clearance certificate through the Chinese Embassy in New Zealand.

Thank you very much for your time. I may be contacted at: yahoo.co.nz|a_life_in_thailand

Kind regards,
Kim

You can obtain a police certificate from the local Public Security Bureau by asking someone to act on your behalf in China. To do this, you must give this person a Specific written authorization; a photocopy of your passport, including the page that contains the Chinese visa.
The person acting on your behalf must present the documents to the local Public Security Bureau.
