There is no train or bus going to Shanghai at that time, only an Airasia X shuttle bus for their passengers at 23:25 on Tuesdays and Saturdays, if you are arriving on those days, you can contact them to see if you can take the bus even if you are not their passenger. Good Luck.

Hey michael, thanks for the heads up. unfortunately i'm arriving in hangzhou on a thursday, which is one of the days they don't operate on. But i am flying with airasia. I am hoping that airasia recently started flying to hangzhou on thurs and mon and that they haven't updated the timetables :(

Hey Celia, I've just checked on their website and found that they've changed the timetable. At 23:20 on Thursday there is a shuttle bus going to Shanghai. You can take it! Good Luck!
