Dear Sir,

I have a friend who is a Malaysian Citizen and have granted Employment Permit in China lately. Can he process the Z-visa in China or he could send back his travel document to Malaysia China Embassy for z-visa processing without personal present in Emabssy?

The visa can not be processed in China, he needs to come back. And the China visa application service center now has been introduced by Chinese embassy to handle visa issues. He can try to send documents back and entrust others to do that on his behalf if they do not particularly ask for an interview.

Because she has the employment license,she can do the Z visa in China without leaving go back. If she is in Malaysia, she can take a Tourist visa to come to China, then change the Tourist visa to the Z visa. I f she is in China now, she can change the visa to the Z visa directly.
