About:Chinese Embassy in Israel

Dear Sirs,

I am planning a TOURIST trip to China in October and will be spending 2 nights in TIBET. I understand that we need permits for this part of the trip. Can we get these together with the VISA application for CHINA ?

Many thanks
Dr Shimon

You need a China visa first to enter China. The Tibet Enter Permit issued by Tibet Travel Bureau is what you can apply both in China and in your country. But please note that individual tourists are not allowed to enter Tibet, you have to contact an travel agency from China, they will handle the permit for you.
