I found an old timetable : The bus leaves Shanghai at 16:00 and arrives in Huangshan at 24:00.The return buses (Huangshan-Shanghai) leave at 19:10 and take 6-7 hours.I think this time table changed : to you have the actual timetable from /to Shanghai and Nanjing.Thanks

I found in the official website of Shanghai South Bus Station that the last bus leaves at 16:05 and arrive in Huangshan (scenic area, not Tunxi) 6.5 hours later. There are four direct buses a day, you can take the morning bus at 6:38am, 7:59am and 10:12am. Nanjing Zhongyangmen Bus Station have direct buses at 7am and 8am, 4-4.5 hours.
