Question

Dear Embassy staff;I am a US citizen and live in Iraq.  I would like to visit China, do I need a visa to enter China or not.  If I do how can I get it.  I know the embassy in Iraq is not processing applications.  do I need to come to Dubai for visa?  If I do how longe would it take to get it (how many days do I have to wait there). .  I would appreciate your quick response and thanks for your understanding.  Jowan

first, I have to say that this site is not an official web Chinese embassy in UAE. You are required visa to enter China, and you need to submit your visa application to Chinese embassy in Dubai. It normally takes 4 working days to process the visa application. The applicant may request expedited process with the approval of consular officers. Additional urgent fee of Dhs90.00 per visa for 3- or 2-working-day process will be charged.
