About:Shanghai Metro Ticket

Hallo, I will visit Shanghai from 13th to 22nd sep. and I will stay at the longemont hotel. At the arrival I would try the maglev, but I'm not able to understand which is my nearest metro station and if there are changes on the way. I will of course visit the expo; how do I get there? And if I want to try a combination of metro+ferry? Do you suggest to buy a smart card? Thank you for your help

Are you coming to Shanghai by air? If you are arriving at PVG, you can take Maglev and then change to Subway Line 2 at Longyanglu Station. Alight at Jiangsulu Station and then walk to your hotel.

From Hotel to the Expo site, you can take Subway Line 2 to Lujiazui Station and then walk to Dongchanglu Water Gate. There you can take ferry to the expo.
