Question

We would like to visit Chengdu in week starting from 13th September 2010. Is it OK to visit at this point of time. Which will be the correct internantional airport to reach Chegdu. As such we will be touching Ghangzhou & Shanghai Airports for other business, which shall be the Airport we prefer between Ghangzhou & Shanghai and what shall be the mode of travel from these Airports to Chengdu & how much will be the approximate time/cost. Guangzhou seems closer to Chengdu than Shanghai, you can take flight to Guangzhou, take Airport Express Bus to Guangzhou Railway Station and then take train to Chengdu. Trains to Chengdu costs CNY400-700 per person. The train journey takes around 30-40 hours.
