About:

I want to go from Shanghai on the bullet train back to Hangzhou, and from there to the airport for an Air Asia flight to KL. Is it necessary to reserve a seat? My flight is at 2pm from Hangzhou. What time would you suggest I leave Shanghai? Is it easy to get to the airport from the train station in Hangzhou?

Hi Robert, bullet train ticket is easy to get, you don't need to book in Advance, if you take train to Hangzhou South Railway Station, then you need to leave Shanghai at around 10:00 in the morning, if you take train to Hangzhou Railway Station in downtown, you need to leave Shanghai at around 09:00. In Hangzhou South Railway Station, you can take taxi there, it would be faster. If at Hangzhou Railway Station, you can take airport shuttle bus to the airport, it might take longer time.
