About:Chinese Embassy in Malaysia

Hi,

I am a Malaysian planning to visit Shanghai towards the end of this month. Asumming that i had already got my tourist visa from China's embassy in KL, I was wondering if I could travel to Shanghai via Hanoi, Vietnam. Other than that, is it possible for me to apply the tourist visa to Shanghai in China Embassy in Hanoi, Vietnam?

You can apply for China tourist visa from China embassy in KL[now, you need to go to Chinese Visa Application Service Center (CVASC)in Kl to apply for China visa rather than China embassy in Kl], and go to Shanghai from Hanoi, you can't apply for China tourist visa from China embassy in Hanoi if you don't have a residence permit or work permit in Vietnam. It's better for you to get a China visa from Kl, Malaysia
