About:Shanghai Dining: What & Where to Eat

Food! one of my favorite topics:
1. I do not eat pork and how can I ask if the food contains pork in local language? What is the word for "pork"?
2. How can I identify UIGUR food vendors in streets? (assuming that they only serve non pork menu)
3. Is it possible to eat Roast Duck (Hong Kong Style) there like we are used to finding in ChinaTowns in USA?
4. Can you recommend a good, reasonably priced seafood restaurant?

1. Pork is '猪肉(Zhu Rou)' in Chinese. It pronounces as 'tzŷgnuq' in Shanghai local language.
2. You may mean Muslim people. They usually dress up differently with a small hat or a babushka on their head. Anyway you can ask about the local people about this.
3.You may mean QuanJude Roast Duck Restaurant. You can find it in many place, such as 786, Huaihaizhong Lu and 788,Dongfang Lu.
4. Sea Palace Floating Restaurant is a good choice. It is located 1, Dongchang Lu, Lujiazui, Pudong New District.
