Hello Friends!
I have a similar question posted earlier regarding doing some work in China. The only difference is my company is about to transfer me to the city called Shuangyashan. I have a wife and two kids whom I am willing to take with me. Could you please advice me whether it is a good idea to bring my family with me and what the life is in this small city. As I found out, it is a very small city that doesn't have any foreigners living there. Is it true? Are there any places of sightseeing, supermarkets, KFC? Any comments on this city are welcome!

Indeed, that is a small city, 54 years old, there seems no KFC in the city, but I think there are authentic local food. There are scenic areas at the suburban area, of course there are supermarkets, although it is not well developed, it is developing now, if you are not sure whether you should go there along with your family, you can go there youself and then make the decision when you have experienced the city.
