We are deeply sorry for the incident last Aug 23. We feel the saddened lost of the innocent people. Our country is also mourning for the lost of the Hongkong Nationals. Hence, our government is doing their best for the fair and just investigation on this matter. Our travel and tourism is already affected as well as the relationship of both country. Me and my kids are travelling this coming September, we are hesitant to go but I paid our tickets already months ago. I hope Hongkong people would not hate filipino tourists. There are several news now that Filipinos are being fired by Hongkong Employer because of the incidents. Would it really safe for Filipinos to go to Hongkong now? hope to hear advisory. thanks.

i share the same sentiments,we too have a scheduled paid vacation to HK this September,I will be going with my little boy,we feel really sad with what happened,we Filipinos are deeply saddened by what happened,I hope we can have some feedbacks if we can push through with our trip?thank u so much,would greatly appreciate your insights

I share the same sentiments.  We will be traveling by mid September too but again safety is my first priority.  Have you heard anything if its safe for Filipino to travel to Hong Kong?.  We are really sorry for what happened.

Two of my officemates have been to HK with their families right after the hostage incident.  According to them, it is safe to travel in HK and did not experience any problem at all.  They both enjoyed their vacations.

It's very safe to travel in Hongkong.. We just arrived yesterday. The Hongkong people are very nice to deal with..News here are very much exagerated...Hongkong people are very accomodating...And don't worry there are lots of FIlipino tourist there..
