We have confirmed our visit dates from 25 Oct to 8 Nov 2010. Will appreciate if you can advise on the weather during that period. Also, we will like to visit some fruit farms. What fruits will be in season then? As we will be staying near Wangfujing, kindly advise which is the closest fruit farm? How long will it take for us to get there by taxi? We are a group of 5 adults. Kindly advise if there is any maxi cab that can take in all of us in one trip. If taxi unable to fethch all 5, what is your advisable mode of transport for us to visit the fruit farm on our own? Many thanks for your kind advice!

You can go to Cherry Farm (樱桃园), it is the nearest one, you can find dates there. It is located at 68, Minzhuang Lu, Haidian District, Beijing (北京市海淀区闵庄路68号), taxi in Beijing can carry 4 people at most, you can hire two taxis to get there, it might take you around 10 minutes to get there, it is at the foot of Fragrance Mountain, near Summer Palace.
