About:Chinese Embasy in Ireland

HI there,
I will be travelling to Shanghai on a business trip for 7 days. I would like to fly to Hong Kong on the second 7 days.

Do i apply for a Business or Holiday visa since i will be doing both?

You just need to apply for Business Visa to China. You don't need to apply for a tourist visa to China.
