About:China Work Visa

Hello,

I'm in Beijing China now a days, i come here on F visa for 45 days, now my visa expire on 13th September 2010, i have a one job opportunity in beijing, but they said i have to change my visa status from F visa to Z visa by my self.
I just wanna know that they are right to ask me this? if yes, than what papers i need from my employer and from my side to apply Z visa in china?

Mr.Jhan, they are right, you need to change your visa to a Work visa. You need a Employment Permit for Foreigners issued by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security, which you need from your employer. And a visa notification form issued by an authorized unit in China-your company (original).

By your side, you need to provide your passport, an application form and a passport photo.
