I was told to go to Chinese Embassy to do my visa by my travel agent, after reading here, I realised there is CVASC that me as Malaysia passport holder can only go to 2nd Floor, Plaza OSK, 25 Jalan Ampang, Kuala Lumpur to apply for my Visa?2) If I wanted a visa that can enter Shenzhen in October and then Beijing in November, do I just need to apply for double-entry visa or do I need to apply for single after I come back from Shenzen?  This visa validity is how many days?Thanks,

You need to go to CVASC to submit your visa application. And better to apply for a double entry visa. generally speaking, the visa duration for each entry is 30 days, but not for sure bcz it will be finally decided by visa officers.

You can have a try to apply for a double-entry visa if you visit Shenzhen for 3 days in October, then return to Malayisa, and go to Beijing in November again, the double-entry visa is generally valid for 6 months, permitting 30 days stay duration per entry. The flight tickets arrangement are required to prove your double entry to China.
