About:Chinese Consulates in South Africa

Dear Mr. Charles

Thank you for the reply. I went this morning but they did not want the letter from my family member I am visiting, but only the Ticket copy. I am visiting my partner who is working at the Expo until Nov but am only going for about 3 weeks. He wrote me a letter explaining that I am visiting him and provided his physical address. But the lady that was helping me at Sandton, Kilarney Road only took the flight ticket copy. Wont this affect my visa approval. I am just woried it will be rejected and I cant afford that.

Please advise in this matter. They said I can come for results of the application next week Thu. And on the website they said first time applicant must provide 3 months bank statements which the ladt also did not take.

I hope this wont affect the approval of my Visa.

Regards

Mr.Tebogo, please don't worry, do you submit the visa application directly to the China consulate or submit it through a travel/visa agency? If you submit it to the consulate directly, the visa officer just take the flight ticket copy, which means that other documents are not important for your application, if you submit it to a travel/visa agency, the staff are experienced to apply for China visa, they pick the documents for visa application. You don't need to worry, either.
