Well, I think you have to spend 4~6 days in Chengdu to visit these spots in downtown area and suburban, suchas Mt.Emei and Leshan. Then, at least 4 days in Jiuzhaigou and Huanglong.

And, since the heavy rainfall at the end of Aug, the road to Jiuzhaigou from Chengdu has been interrupted before. Although it will be better later, it is suggested that you take a flight from Chengdu to Jiuzhaigou.

Once arrive at Jiuzhaigou Airport, you could take the shuttle bus or hire a cab to Huanglong firstly for 2~4 hours and then go on to Jiuzhaigou. If you would like to visit Huanglong from Jiuzhaigou, you have to hire a local cab, a little more expensive.

Finally, please take a flight back to Chengdu.

Hi Mr. Sam,

I heard that even if we take the flight, it's dangerous to go by bus or cab from the airport to the Jiuzhaigou valley. Besides, due to heavy rainfall, the scenery is also ruined.
I'm travelling to Chengdu early Sept and staying in 7 days. I have cancelled my plan to Jiuzhaigou due to this news. Could you advise other places we should go during the stay in Chengdu. And where should we go to enjoy nightlife in Chengdu?
Thanks in advance for your advice!
