Can i apply for 1 day stay permit on the spot when i arrived Shanghai Pudong airport? Or i must apply the permit at China Embassy in Malaysia before the trip? Should i pay for the fee of this permit? Yes, you can apply for a 1 day stay permit from border check points there in Shanghai. The fee is very cheap about few yuan.
