My group of 9 ladies are planning to travel to Guangzhou from Shenzhen in January 2011 by train. My research shows that we board the train at the Luohu Railway Station in Shenzhen and the arrive at the Guangzhou Station, which is near to our hotel. Tickets are RMB85 for 1st class. However, when I tried to book online, there was an extra charge of RMB150 for admin and delivery fees, which is double the ticket cost. My questions are:
1. Can we purchase train tickets at the train station when we are Shenzhen?
2. How many days in advance can we get the tickets? We will be in SZ for 2 nights.
3. Will the tickets be the same price, RMB75, at the ticketing office?
4. Will there be extra charges?

Any advice will be much appreciated.
