About:Chinese Temporary Residence Permit

SIR
I am a medical student in china. I have a temporary one year residence permit valid till 30sep 2010. Now i am in india for holidays. When i came to india i renewd my passport and got a newone. My question is if i can re enter china with the residence permit in old passport or should i apply and get new student x visa stamped on the new passport.

Mr.PAPPUSONLINE, I think you can re-enter China with the residence permit in old passport together with your new passport.

But the saftest way is to apply for a new student visa on your new passport. You'd better enquire the visa officer.
