About:Chinese Embassy in Philippines

Can someone tell me how long a Z-visa takes, my girlfriend in traveling back to Manila in 2 weeks to get the z-visa. Last month she was also in the consulate in Manila and she was told that it take 4 weeks to get it. At the end she applied for F-visa, she also had all the papers for this with her, and supprise, they gave her a L visa!! and by the way they forget to mention on the website of the chinese consulate that, when you apply for a z-visa, you also need show them your signed contract.
So can someone give me accurate information about how long it will take, because the information from the Chinese Consulate seems not to be very accurate.

Hello Ms Helper, thanks for your reply, I provided her withthe folowing papers:
I have provided her with the following papers:
1. the original Visa Notification Form issued by Chinese authorized unit.
2. the Alien Employment License of the People's Republic of China issued by Ministry of Labor and Social Security.
3. the Physical Examination Certificate for Foreign Citizen.
4. employment contract.

Is there anything more she needs to get her Z-visa?
Do you have any idea what is the best Consulate for her to obtain a visa, Manila, Cebu or Laoag?

Mr.Kalbo, besides the documents you listed, you also need to provide the below documents for China visa application:
1. Passport of your girlfriend
2. A truly and completely filled application form affixed with one passport-size or 2x2 colored photo
3. The emergency contact information page in her passport should be filled out and photocopied.

as for the consulate, you should go to the appropriate embassy/consulate according to the consular districts.

Thanx again Ms Helper, but I found these answers also on the website of the Chinese Embassy. What i'm looking for is advice/experiences from Filipinos at their own embassy, because the website of the Ch. Embassy says, "any other paper required by the visa officer", this is the only embassy who is mentioning this rule. Obtaining visa's for China are normally never a problem, only in the Philippines. So i'm looking for personal experiances with the Chinese Embassy in Phillipines.
