Ms.silvana, you need a visa to visit Shanghai Expo, Argentina passport holders doesn't need a visa if they transit Shanghai for less than 24 hours and they won't leave the airport.

Ms.silvana, as I know, one of my Uk friend gets a 1 day temporary stay permit stamped on his passport in the Shanghai airport for transit, but USA citizens can't get it. In pricipal, a transit visa is not required for USA and Uk citizens who transit Shanghai for less than 48 hours (leaving the airport is allowed)

For Argentinians, a visa is not required if you transit Shanghai for less than 24 hours and remain at the airport. Therefore, you'd better apply for a transit visa before leaving even though maybe you have chance to get a 1 day temporary stay permit.
