About:Huangshan Travel

Hello,
we plan to go to Huangshan in mid October. Would that be a good season to go? Will it be still packed with visitors or will that be quiet? I like to hike the Xihai Grand Canon and Lotus Peak ( the tallest peak? in Huangshan), do they have beautiful scenic worth to hike? What is your most favorite trail? Do we need a guide?
Also, where will we board the overnight train - soft sleeper from Shanghai to Huangshan (which train station in Shanghai?)
Can we purchase the tickets in advance? and how?
Please help if you can provide the answer. Thank you for your help in advance.

There will not be so many people as early October when you go there, it is still a good season, you'll find amazing scenery in every season at Huangshan. They are surely worth to hike, you'll not be disappointed. I think you can hire a guide to make your trip better, you can hire one through travel agency. You can take the 17:45 train at Shanghai Railway Station, the ticket is available on this website, you can book them here.
