I've read from the web that it is better to visit Badaling in the afternoon because there will be less tourists. But I have not read any reviews about going to Badaling in the afternoon. I want to ask is it reasonable to visit Badaling in the afternoon？

There are fewer tourists in the afternoon compared with the morning time. But you will be unable to climb as high as wanted due to the time limit. BTW, you may encounter a traffic jam if coming back by bus, coz it’s the peak of the Badaling freeway transportation. I recommend coming back by train Y588 (19:40) if go there in the afternoon.
