Hello,Do you know if it's possible to get a bus directly to Xi'an from Shanghai? Which bus station should I try for this? Also, how far in advance do you think it is it neccessary to book a ticket? I'd prefer to take the train but it's fully booked for the next week so I'm hoping the bus is a better bet.Thanks in advance for any advice you can give,Charlotte

There are buses directly from Shanghai to Xi'an. You can go Shanghai Long-distance Bus Station to take the bus.It is no need to book the bus ticket in advance. You can buy it before you get on the bus at the bus station.
