About:Chinese Embasy in Ireland

Reference previous enquiry - although living in the UK both of us who will travel around the world on motorbikes are Irish - the questions were:
- do we need Visas and if so, what type?
- do we need to be escorted to cross China or can we travel alone?

Many thanks

Linda

yes, you need a China Tourist Visa (L visa)

You can travel alone, but you should provide a visa notification form issued by China National Tourism Administration or the tourism administration of related province, autonomous region or municipality directly under the Central Government.
