Hi, I think for this question, one thousand people would give you one thousand different answers. Anyway, some part of Changchun has pollution but some part do not. One of my friend was graduated from Changchun International School, she is genius. And for the last question, surely there are places for sports, don't worry. Good Luck!

Hi Geraldine,

I am German and have been living here in Changchun since May and me and my boyfriend stay here for the next three years. It's a lovely city, not as developed as Beijing, Shanghai etc. but a nice place to live. Kids have good opportunities for both leisure and schools. You have many many sport opportunities here, fitness centres, swimming pools, badminton, tennis, horse riding, hiking etc. There is nothing you cannot do! Of course, it's China, it's very different from what Europeans are used to but it's a great opportunity in life to get the chance to live here for a period of time. The people are very nice, the culture is very interesting. If I were you, come here for a week or so to have a look and I am sure you will say yes :) Winter is cold, but sunny and summers are usually very pleasant. So no worries about climate. I hope you make the right decision and maybe see you soon in Changchun!
