I am going to Shanghai, Guilin, Xian and Beijing from August 4th to August 21st. Is there flooding in these areas ? Will I get to see anything ? Does it rain all day ? My tickets are already booked. Please advise.

Well, I think you could take easy to come to Xian, Beijing and Shanghai, where rainfall is reported but will not cause serious flooding. As for Guilin, the downtown area will not be in trouble, but the Li River may be in flood season. As a result, the Li River cruise will be stopped.

All in all, the rainfall will not happen everyday, jsut take easy!

Li River is still navigable by far. If there is no heavy and constant rainful there, you tour to Guilin is definitel ok!
