I want to travel to Zhongdian and LiJiang ASAP but I understand the rainfall is quite high around this time of year. I plan to go there between 15th and 21st August. Does the rainfall relax towards the end of August? Also, I would like to take my camping gear and camp in Zhongdian, is it possible, are there places to set up camp?
