About:China National Aquatics Center

The Water Cube will reopen to the public on July 28th after 10 months of reconstruction. Two exhibition halls have been built during the reconstruction. In addition, a biggest and most advanced leisure water park in Asia, which will be open all year round is built as well as a nearby water bar. The ticket price for sightseeing and swimming in the Water Cube will stick at RMB30 &RMB50 while the Leisure Water Park will need a separate ticket, which is RMB200 per adult. Tourists with the Leisure Water Park ticket can visit the Water Cube for free.

Be aware that getting a taxi from the airport to places nearby is often fraught with problems - drivers generally HATE going a short distance from the airport. I recommend finding a hotel in the area near Sanyuanqiao / Dongzhimen and using the airport express.
