The Water Cube will reopen to the public on July 28th after 10 months of reconstruction. Two exhibition halls have been built during the reconstruction. In addition, a biggest and most advanced leisure water park in Asia, which will be open all year round is built as well as a nearby water bar. The ticket price for sightseeing and swimming in the Water Cube will stick at RMB30 &RMB50 while the Leisure Water Park will need a separate ticket, which is RMB200 per adult. Tourists with the Leisure Water Park ticket can visit the Water Cube for free.

Be aware that getting a taxi from the airport to places nearby is often fraught with problems - drivers generally HATE going a short distance from the airport. I recommend finding a hotel in the area near Sanyuanqiao / Dongzhimen and using the airport express.
