About:Shanghai Pudong Airport

I will be travelling in October from Vancouver to Chengdu (MU), through Pudong where I change planes. Will I go through Chinese customs and immigration in Pudong or Chengdu? (The connecting flight is approximately 3 hours so that is no problem.) Thank you!

You can chang plane in Pudong airport. You should go through Chinese customs and immigration in Pudong.

After arriving in the CIQ (China Inspection & Quarantine) Area and being checked, head for the transfer hall to handle check-in and enter the concourse of departure (minimum time duration about 51 minutes).
