About:Getting Around Guilin

I would like to visit an ancient village with preserved buildings, would the Fishing Village at Xingping be the best and is it easier to go from Yangshuo? if so how easy is it to get there? thanks

The Fishing Village at xingping is a good place to visit.
You can take powerboat from Yangshuo to Xingping.

Thank you David for the info re Xingping fishing village. Are are you in China and has the dreadful flooding we have seen on TV affecting the Guilin and Yangshuo regions?

Yes, i am in China. The flood did not take much damage to Guilin and Yangshuo.You can have your fun there.
