My pleasure! Well, the ethnic group problem is not easy for those who are not history scholars. I would like to tell you something about 'Han'. Hope it may help you a little. Han, 汉, refers to the Han River which is the largest branch of Yangtze River. Liubang, the first emperor of Han Dynasty was called the
King of Han' 200 years ago, later he established Han Dynasty. This is a very important era in Chinese history. The territory of China in general was basically formed at this period and the buildup of ethnic groups was firstly fixed since then. So, for the major group, we call Han people.
