About:Macau Visa Policy

Hi, my boyfriend lives in Macau and I want to go stay with him for a few months. I understand that USA citizens can stay in Macau for 30 days without applying for visa. What can I do to stay longer? Someone told me to go to Hong Kong for a few days and come back to Macau to be able to stay for another 30 days. I doubt that will work because of the new regulation. Can I can get some type of visa? Thank you!

You can first go to Macau without a visa, then go to the Immigration Department of Macau Public Police Security to apply for extension of stay duration, go between Hong Kong and Macau frequently is not a good method, the immigration officer will know that you just want to get another 30 days stay in Macau, then they will issue you 10 day or less for you 3rd, 4th entry.
