About:Chinese Embassy in Malaysia

Dear sir/madam,
My name is Serge and I am from Cote d'Ivoire (Ivory Coast). My country has just implemented the new biometric passport and all the citizens living abroad are required to apply for it. For this reason, I am planning to travel to the embassy of Cote d'Ivoire in China since there is none in Malaysia. My current passport expired in less than 5-month time (2 December 2010). However, one of the requirement is a minimum 6-month validity period for the passport in order to apply. Kindly advise on the next steps to take. Best regards, Serge

Sorry, Mr.Serge, I m afraid that you can not get a visa to China if you passport is valid for less 6 months. But you can make a call to the Chinese Embassy where you reside, state the problem you face to try if they can issue you a visa. Best wishes.
