About:Chinese Embassy in Canada

Ok, What if I have an Air China flight from Ulaan Baatar to Beijing but an Air Canada flight out of Beijing within 2 hours (if all goes well and Air China is on time! - it is a 'legal' connection but Air China has been known to be late)
If a visa is not required in this case, what if Air China is late and misses the connection and it takes more than 24 hours to recover and obtain a new flight? If necessary is it possible to obtain a visa in the Beijing airport at that time or must one have it prior to arrival?
Thanks so much

Ms.MaryLena, please don't worry, if the Air China is late, you can't leave the Beijing airport within the 24 hours, it's the fault of Air China, you can get a transit visa or other permit in the Beijing airport, the flight tickets from Ulaan Baatar to Beijing, from Beijing to Canada can prove that you just transit the airport for 2 hours.
