Hello
We are planning to visit china on September-October.
We want to get to Guilin from Kunming around September 30th. When I try to search for train around that date I see that the calender marks X on all the dates between Sep 20th - Oct10th. Does it mean there are no trains on those dates? Or the delivery is not working these days? Or maybe everything is fully booked in these days? Does it have anything to do with the holiday that takes place on the beginning of October?

Thanks
Itamar

It may mean all the tickets have been booked. It does have thing to do with the holiday of 1st, October.

As I know there are three trains departing from Kunming to Guilin everyday. If you searched it for online booking, I'm afraid that the agent doesn't supply ticket-booking service during this period. It is beacause that every end of Sep to the mid of Oct is the travel peak time in China, so difficult to purchase a train ticket. Why don't you take a flight which is more convenient?
