About:Chinese Embassy in Singapore

Why does it take 1-2 months? I did go to the Chinese Embassy here in Singapore (Tanglin Road) only to be told it takes that long. Now my dilemma is I read this site, and followed your advice.I booked an airline ticket that offers no refund, no rescheduling as it is one of the few budget airlines from Singapore that flies to Hongkong.I have plans to go to Macau too, but as it turns out, I will also need a transit visa coz the ferry ports to Macau are no where near the airport. Will it also take 1-2 months? And if you try calling, the only answer one will get is recorded, redundant voice messages. This is so unfair, and the system for getting this visa is overwhelmingly frustrating.

Mr.Rami, I have much sympathy for you! however, please keep calm, some Hong Kong visa application should get the approval of Immigration Department of HKSAR Government, so it takes 1 month. You can apply for Hong Kong visa and Macau Visa together from the China embassy in Singapore.
