About:Chinese Consulate in Chicago

Hi, I am a Chinese citizen and US permanent resident. My passport is going to expire in Jan 2011. Since I plan to go back to China for a visit in September 2010, may I renew my passport in Beijing or do I have to go to New York? Thanks!

You can try to renew it at Exit and Entry Administration of Beijing Public Security Bureau. Or other ones in China.
