I'm planning to visit shanghai on 1st Sep. till 4th Sep leaving from Wenzhou. I would like to take a train from Wenzhou to shanghai, and I would also like to take a train back to Wenzhou to take the flight from Wenzhou back to Thailand in the morning of Sep 5th. Could you help me answer these following questions?

1> Should I book the train tickets in advance through the internet, book them through a travel agency in my country ,or buy them directly at the station? and how about the subway ticket in shanghai?

2> I will be attending an elective program in Wenzhou medical college for 4 weeks before going to shanghai, where should I take the train to take me to shanghai? (Wenzhou railway station to shanghai south railway station? or other routes)


please help me figure these out. Thank you
