About:Qingdao Travel

We are comming to Quigdao in two weeks. We heard that this area is very crowded, especially beaches. Can we find also more quiet areas for peaceful sightseeing and more private places by the sea?
also, which cheap yout hostel would you recomend? we are on very low budget (backpacking students).

There is one place called Jin Sha Tan, which means Golden Beach, it seems that there are less people than other beaches in Qingdao especially those near the railway station. For hostel, there is a
hostel called Hai Lun Ya Ju(海伦雅居),they charge for less than CNY100 per night. It is located about 10 minutes walk to the beach,but it is a little crowded and it is not suitable for people who require good environment. For another hostel, the Hostelling International Qingdao, it is located in a very quiet place, the fare is varied for different room, they have their official website, you can find the number and contact for more information or make your reservation.
