About:Baggage Allowance and Transportation

Hi,
Can I take a bicycle as checked baggage in the train from Xi'An to Chengdu? And is there enough time to take the bicycle in Chengdu Station since I read here that "Trains stop at stations just long enough for people to get on and off"?

Yes, you can but maybe you need to take apart the bicycle into parts and pack it in a box. Besides, staff will notify you to come and pick it up after the baggage has arrived. Remember to collect it as soon as possible after being informed, as the station will only keep it for free for three days.
