About:Shanghai Pudong Airport

My flight is Flint-Bkk. But the first airlines i have to take an american airlines to chicago and then from chicago to Los Angleles by united airlines.
How many time do i have to check in my baggage ?
Can my baggage throgh to Bkk ?

It is suggsted that you contact with BKK directly for the details. If they don't transfer you baggage at chicago automatically, you have to recheck in baggage.
