About:Shanghai Pudong Airport

Hi, I will be flying from San Francisco to Xi'an, with a stop in Shanghai. I will arrive in T2 via United Airlines and must proceed to T1 to take China Eastern. I know that I have to recheck my luggage. But where is the luggage deposit if I am re-checking my baggage from international to domestic? Is it in Terminal 1? How long's the walk from T2 to T1?

There is a transfer hall of 4,000 square meters in the center of T2, equipped with forty counters to handle centralized services for ticketing, border and security inspection, and baggage checking. It brings great convenience to those passengers who will make a transfer between domestic (D) and international (I) flights and I - I flights.

It only takes 5 minutes by maglev from T2 to T1
