About:Chinese Embassy in U.S.A.

Hi:
I have a question to ask about my situation. I am a USA permanant resident , live in NY USA. My passport was expired, I did apply a new E-passport since the beginning of May,2010. Until this week, it does not arrive here yet. I have a plan to go to Thailand for summer vacation with my son on the June 28th,2010. And I will stop in HK for 4 days . My question is if my e-passport does not arrive by the time I have to leave, Thai consulate will issue temporaly passport valid for 1 yr. for me. Can I still stop in HK as my plan or not? Please help and advice. Thank You

Tailand passport holders can enter Hongkong for not more than 30 Days. So, don't worry.
