About:Shanghai Pudong Airport

I want to take a bus from Pudong International Airport to Renmin Square, then from Renmin Square to my hotel. Which buses can I take, which streets are they located at and at which side of the street are the stops? How do I pay for the bus ride? Many thanks for the advice!

You can take airport Line 9 and get off at Middle Zhejiang Rd (Yan'an Rd/People's Square). It will cost you CNY16-30.

The site does not mention an airport line 9, it stops at line 8. Could you help me locate line 9?

The Line 9 suggested by Mr. Alva should be the night line which is only in operation after 23:00 to the last flight arrival. Actually, if you arrive at the airport during day time, it is suggested that you take the shuttle bus Line 2 (CNY22) to its terminal at Jing'an Temple firstly. The people's square is not far from Jing'an Temple, so you could transfer to a cab here for instead.

On the other hand, if you arrive at Pudong Airport before 15:00, please follow the directions to take the metro Line 2, which could drive you to the People's Square directly. The fare is only CNY6. However, this way is not suggested if you travel with heavy luggages.
