About:China Embassy in Thailand

Does anyone know if I can go to the Chinese Embassy in Bangkok and get a tourist visa (only want to go for a week) the same day? I'm flying into Bangkok from Cambodia on July 01, 2010 and have a 1 day layover in Bangkok and want to know if I can go to the embassy and get my visa the same day? Any tips on when it's open and how long it may take? I understand I will have to pay more, but I want to know if I need to stay in Bangkok longer to get the Chinese Visa?

Office Hours for visa application: 09:00-11:30, Monday-Friday (except holidays) you have to submit your application before 10:00 a.m., and show your flight ticket of the next day to the visa officer, then it is likely that the visa officer approve your application for 1 working day rush service.

Thank you Mr. Sam. What time can I expect to pick up my approved visa after I apply for it by 10am on the first day?
