About:China Visa Fees

Hi! I use to hold an X visa and the a residence permit but I quit univ. in Jan and I'm waiting to be accepted in another uni in Sept. Unluckily I lost my passport with my valid residence permit and because I'm no longer registered in any univ. I will be given a 10 day visa to exit China, I want to get a 3 month tourist visa in HK to re-entry the mainland and wait here until I get my new residence permit, but I just heard from the agency that it is difficult and I might be denied my visa, what can I do?

yes, it is difficult for you to get a single-entry tourist visa with 3 months validity in Hk, you have to get an original admission notice from the Chinese university and an approved Foreign Student Visa Application Form (JW201 or JW202) issued by the Chinese authorized unit or the Ministry of Education, then apply for China X visa in Colombia, then go to China to apply for residence permit within the 30 days after entry.
